Significant Incidents

Robbery: On 05/02/2021, at 10:40 PM, the suspects approached the victim near the 26000 block of Manon Ave. The suspect robbed the victim, who sustained minor injuries. The suspects fled the scene. (Report #2021-023753)

Recovered Stolen Vehicle/Felony Evasion: On 05/03/2021, at 6:53 AM, an outside agency pursued a wanted vehicle into Hayward’s jurisdiction. The driver rammed an outside agency police vehicle and was later disabled after it lost a tire. The driver was taken into custody in the 26000 block of Adrian Dr. (Report #2021-23789)

Theft: On 05/06/2021, at 10:10 AM, the suspect entered a business in the 28000 block of Mission Blvd and stole property from inside before fleeing the scene on foot. (Report #2021-24586)

Vehicle Seizure Warrant: On 05/06/2021, at 10:53 AM, traffic officers wrote a vehicle seizure warrant for a car that was seen driving recklessly and doing “donuts.” The vehicle was seized in the 27000 block of E 10th Ave. (Report #2021-024464) 

Shooting:  On 05/06/2021 at 7:33 PM, the victim was driving a vehicle in the 25000 block of Industrial Blvd. The suspect drove near the victim and shot at the victim’s car before fleeing the scene. The victim was not injured during the incident. (Report #2021-024716)
