ROBBERY: On 11/05/2023 at 6:30 PM, officers responded to the report of a robbery near the 800 block of Southland Dr. The suspects entered the victim business, brandished a weapon, took property from inside, and fled in a vehicle prior to officer arrival. (Report #: 2023-063240)
RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE: On 11/07/2023 at 6:47 PM, officers located an occupied stolen vehicle near 880 Fwy and Hwy 92. Officers attempted to pull the car over, but it fled the scene. Officers located the vehicle a short distance away and took three occupants into custody. (Report #: 2023-63706)
RECOVERED FIREARM/STOLEN VEHICLE: On 11/09/2023 at 6:21 PM, officers conducted a traffic stop for a traffic violation near the intersection of Fletcher Ave and Watkins St. During the traffic stop the driver and passenger both fled on foot and were both detained by officers. A search of the driver was conducted, and he was found to be in possession of suspected narcotics and a loaded handgun. The driver was then placed under arrest. A search of the passenger revealed he was in possession of a loaded handgun and was placed under arrest. It was later determined the vehicle involved in the traffic stop was a stolen vehicle. RECOVERED CARJACKING VEHICLE: On 11/10/2023 at 1:00 PM, officers located an occupied vehicle involved in a carjacking near the intersection of Mission Blvd and A Street. An outside agency plane assisted and maintained visual of the vehicle until the driver abandoned the car and occupants fled on foot. The driver and one occupant were then taken into custody.
