25000 block of Carlos Bee Blvd
HAYWARD, Calif., On Monday, October 3, 2022, at about 5:54 hours, officers responded to several reports of a possible shooting near the 25000 block of Carlos Bee Blvd.
Officers responded to the scene and located an unconscious male suffering from gunshot wounds. Medical personnel responded, rendered aid to the victim, and pronounced the man deceased at the scene. The victim’s identity is known but is being withheld at this time, pending notifications to next of kin.
Throughout the course of the investigation, a suspect was identified and located at the scene. The man was arrested and has been identified as 24-year-old Hayward resident, Zechariah Fisher. Fisher is currently in custody for murder at the Hayward PD Jail.
There are no outstanding suspects and there is no ongoing threat to the community related to this incident.
