ROBBERY: On 08/12/2024 at 1:30 AM, the victim was riding a scooter near the intersection of B St and Watkins St when he was approached by two subjects in a vehicle. One of the subjects brandished a handgun, took property from the victim, and both subjects fled the scene in the vehicle. (Report #: 2024-0245256)
RECOVERED HANDGUN: On 08/13/2024 at 8:00 PM, officers conducted a vehicle stop for moving violations near the intersection of Gading Rd and Dumont Ave. A record check revealed the driver to have an outstanding felony warrant. The driver was arrested, and a search of the vehicle revealed a loaded handgun. (Report #: 2024-045440)
SHOOTING: On 08/15/2024 at 12:35 AM, officers responded to the report of a shooting near the 27000 block of Whitman St. Officers arrived on scene and located evidence of a shooting. No victims or suspects were located at the scene or local hospitals. (Report #: 2024-045671)
ROBBERY: On 08/17/2024 at 5:42 PM, the victim was walking near the intersection of Calaroga Ave and La Playa Dr when he was approached by a group of males. One of the subjects brandished a weapon and took property from the victim. The group then fled the scene in a vehicle. (Report #: 2024-046218)
