The HPRC meets quarterly on the 3rd Thursday (March, June, September, and December). Meetings are generally held at 5:30 p.m. at Hayward City Hall in Conference Room 2A, 777 B Street. Special meetings will be scheduled as determined necessary by the Committee or the City Manager.
There are eight City-operated parking lots and two parking structures (with about 1,689 parking spaces) in the downtown area. The parking lots and structures are: free of charge, have posted time limits, and provide parking for downtown patrons.

The City of Hayward has developed an inventory of water service lines, detailing whether lines are made of copper, plastic, galvanized steel, or other materials. Using a mix of field inspections, historical record review, and other research methods, staff have determined that most water services are made of either copper or plastic. No lead services were found in the Hayward Water System.
The City of Hayward is responsible for the implementation of stormwater and wastewater pretreatment programs that prevent harmful pollutants from entering local creeks, the Bay, and the Hayward Wastewater Treatment Facility. Stormwater and wastewater systems are two separate systems with different functions.
