Significant Incidents

FELONY VEHICLE: On 04/3/2025 at 9:44 AM, Hayward officers received an alert of a felony vehicle out of Pleasant Hill in the area. Officers located the vehicle in the area of Mission Blvd and Dollar St and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was compliant, taken into custody, and released to the custody of Pleasant Hill PD who took over the investigation.  (Report #2025-019120)

ROBBERY: On 04/03/2025 at 9:10 PM the victim was exiting a business near the 1000 block of B St when he noticed his luggage had been removed from his vehicle and was being rummaged through by a suspect. The victim confronts the subject, and the subject points a weapon at the victim threatening to shoot him. The subject fled through the parking lot prior to officer arrival. (Report #2025-019262)

ROBBERY: On 04/05/2025 at 6:44 PM the victim met with a subject he met through Offer-up to sell a jewelry piece. When they met the suspect tried to grab the jewelry from the victim, but the victim resisted. Two additional subjects exited the subject's vehicle with weapons. The subjects took the jewelry and additional belongings from the victim. The suspect fled prior to police arrival. (Report #2025-019678)
