Code Enforcement responds to complaints of overgrown weeds on private property. Code Enforcement will ensure that the property is maintained as overgrown weeds can negatively impact community character as well as pose a fire hazard. The City maintains City-owned sewer pipelines. The public can assist in this effort by reporting possible sewer overflows.

The Fire Department schedules and coordinates Code Assistance Meetings with owners of new construction projects and their architects or contractors. New construction also includes major alterations and modifications of existing structures.
